Quinta do Noval Vintage Port is characterized by its pure fruitiness and a refined, delicate quality that is typical of the estate’s wines in general, but which finds its most remarkable and enduring expression in its Vintage Ports.
Balance, harmony, finesse, and elegance are the hallmarks of our great Vintage Port wines, which are declared only when we believe that the vintage has produced a batch—however small—worthy of the Quinta do Noval seal of approval.
Quinta do Noval follows its own path when it comes to Vintage Port wines. If we believe we have wines with the quality and character of Quinta do Noval’s Vintage Ports from previous years, we do not hesitate to declare and bottle them, even if that means doing so in consecutive years and, as is often the case, bottling only a few hundred cases of Quinta do Noval Vintage Port, which represent only a small percentage of the estate’s total production. Of course, in great vintages, when there is unanimity among Port producers and a general declaration, Quinta do Noval also declares its wine—and perhaps in greater quantities than usual. But in any given year, the standards in Noval’s tasting room are always extremely rigorous, and even in the most generous vintages, the volume of Vintage Port declared is extremely small: at most 15% of the production from our great terroir.
Quinta do Noval 50-Year-Old Tawny
After fifty years of aging in oak casks—during which a significant portion of the wine evaporated—this remarkable Port wine has acquired a complex intensity of flavors and an austere purity, which we believe transports us to a new and distinct dimension within the world of Tawnies. A wine for contemplation and meditation, the result of half a century of silent aging in the cellars under the constant care of Quinta do Noval’s technical team, the Noval 50-Year-Old Tawny offers an extraordinary and unique sensory experience to the sophisticated connoisseur of exceptional wines.
Noval Tawny 50 Years was produced using the traditional multivarietal blend of grape varieties, a hallmark of the Douro Valley. This method involves growing several grape varieties together in the same vineyard, which are then harvested and vinified as a single batch. The main grape varieties in this blend include Touriga Nacional, Sousão, Tinta Roriz, and Touriga Francesa, among many others, each contributing distinct characteristics. This approach enriches the wine’s complexity and balance, with each variety adding unique aromas, flavors, and structure. The result is a harmonious blend that evolves magnificently over decades of aging.
This aged Tawny has a deep golden-amber color with greenish highlights and rich mahogany hues. The bouquet is exceptionally refined, revealing complex aromas of dried fruits, toasted almonds, and subtle hints of spice, which underscore its distinctive character. On the palate, it is incredibly velvety and concentrated, with layers of flavor that reflect its age and maturity. The wine concludes with a long, sophisticated finish that lingers gracefully, showcasing its remarkable structure and finesse.
Quinta do Noval 40-Year-Old Tawny
The 40-Year-Old Noval Tawny Port embodies the legacy of Quinta do Noval and the history of the past 40 years. This wine offers remarkable concentration thanks to its slow maturation over 40 years in contact with wood. The aromatic profile has developed immensely, offering an elegant bouquet reminiscent of almonds and walnuts, which gives it a unique character. Velvety on the palate, this Port offers a perfect balance between powerful aromas and elegant aging. The finish is long and seductive.
Quinta do Noval 20-Year-Old Tawny
The 20-Year-Old Noval Tawny Port has an amber color with golden highlights. This Port exhibits great purity, unwavering nobility, and perfect balance. All the characteristics it acquired during its aging in oak casks are perfectly integrated here, with a highly complex range of aromas that includes nuts such as almonds and walnuts, cherries preserved in brandy, and notes of salted caramel.
Quinta do Noval Vinhas do Passadouro 2021
The Terroir Series is a new line launched by Quinta do Noval, offering an opportunity to explore specific terroirs identified as exceptional.
The wine has a deep, intense color, revealing concentration and vitality. A profusion of aromas with intense notes of ripe fruits, such as blackberry, black cherry, and plum. Aromas of spices, black pepper, clove, and cinnamon add complexity. The tannins are firm and well-integrated, providing a solid and elegant structure. It is full-bodied, with a velvety texture that fills the mouth. It is complex and deep, unfolding aromatic expressions as it breathes in the glass. It has great aging potential and, over time, will gain greater aromatic complexity and softer tannins. Although it is delicious now, its true essence will be revealed after a few years of aging.

The Terroir Series is a new line launched by Quinta do Noval, offering an opportunity to explore specific terroirs identified as exceptional.
This wine is wonderfully complex and alluring, aromatic and refined, with ripe fruit, minerality, subtle green notes, and creamy hints of vanilla. It is sophisticated and elegant, yet refreshing at the same time. Somewhat kaleidoscopic, this complex blend of elements is a fascinating discovery in the glass. Its velvety texture, mouthwatering acidity, and impeccable balance ensure a long finish.
Quinta do Noval Petit Verdot 2022
This 2022 Petit Verdot impresses with its deep purple color and concentrated body. It offers an intense aroma, with rich notes of blackberry, red currant, and spices, complemented by hints of pepper and cedar. On the palate, it remains rich and full of fruit and body, displaying a fresh and vibrant character. With excellent structure and balanced acidity, this fruit-forward wine promises to age beautifully in the bottle over the next ten years.
The wine is aged in 225-liter French oak barrels for 12 months—50% in new barrels, 35% in 2-year-old barrels, and 15% in 3-year-old barrels.
Quinta do Noval Cão Red 2022
This Tinto Cão captivates with its bright ruby color and an intricate aroma of red cherries, spicy notes, and a hint of floral elegance. On the palate, it reveals well-integrated tannins and vibrant acidity, demonstrating its excellent aging potential. Complex layers of red fruit and subtle herbal notes provide a delightful tasting experience, culminating in a refined and lingering finish.
The wine is aged entirely in 225-liter French oak barrels for 12 months, 60% in new barrels and 40% in barrels that have been used once.
Quinta do Noval Syrah 2021
A brilliant wine with violet hues, a pure nose of intensely aromatic notes—fruity, orange blossom, with balsamic and rockrose notes. Wild berries, a hint of blackberry, spices, and very nice oak. It features remarkable acidity that balances the entire wine.
The wine is aged in barrels for 10 months, 25% in new 225-liter French oak barrels.
Quinta do Noval Syrah 2017
A brilliant wine with violet hues, a pure nose of intensely aromatic notes—fruity, orange blossom, with balsamic and rockrose notes. Wild berries, a hint of blackberry, spices, and very nice oak. It features remarkable acidity that balances the entire wine.
The wine is aged in barrels for 10 months, 25% in new 225-liter French oak barrels.
Cedro do Noval Red 2023
The 2023 Cedro Tinto has a vivid garnet color of medium intensity. On the nose, it is vinous and intense, with fruit and spices in perfect balance, accompanied by subtle notes of vanilla and chocolate. On the palate, it shows good body, with its tannic structure immediately apparent, supported by a balance that lingers. It finishes with a very pleasant aftertaste, where fruit and freshness come together in harmony.
The grape varieties are also aged separately in 225-liter French oak barrels for 10 months: 60% in second-year barrels, 30% in third-year barrels, and 10% in new barrels. The grape varieties are blended one month before bottling.
Quinta do Noval Maria Mansa Red 2022
Maria Mansa Red 2022 is an elegant wine with complex textures and enveloping flavors. It has a vibrant red color and fresh, fruity aromas. On the palate, the wine is refined and smooth, with fruity flavors that linger in the long finish.
Before bottling, the wine was aged for 11 months in 225-liter barrels made of 2- and 3-year-old French oak.
Natus White
Citrus-colored, it has a complex and deep aroma, with notes of stone fruit and white flesh. Dense and full-bodied on the palate, it displays the presence and liveliness of partially tannic tannins, which lend it freshness and texture.
Intus White
Intus white wine is made from old vines of the Roupeiro, Antão Vaz, and Arinto grape varieties, harvested by hand at the ideal point of ripeness to ensure fresh fruit and crisp acidity.
Winemaking begins with foot-treading and spontaneous fermentation. Only the free-run juice is pressed and transferred to small stainless steel tanks, where the wine ages without intervention to preserve the purity of the fruit and its natural texture. After decanting, the wine is bottled without stabilization and with light filtration.
With a straw-yellow color and green highlights, it offers aromas of citrus and white flowers, with hints of greenery. On the palate, it is juicy and fresh, ready to drink.
Filipa Pato 3B Rosé Brut Nature
The 3b, “Brut Nature,” is a traditional method that captures pure beauty without any “makeup.” It comes from a single vineyard on clay-limestone soil, with a strong Atlantic influence. An aromatic and refreshing wine, elegant with inviting acidity.
Prior Lucas Baga Bubbles
It presents an elegant light salmon color, immediately revealing a fresh and appealing profile. On the nose, it stands out for its exuberance of fresh red fruits, particularly raspberries, complemented by a subtle aroma of brioche that adds complexity to the overall profile.
On the palate, it features fine, well-integrated bubbles that provide a crisp sensation and a medium-length, dry, and refreshing finish. It is a very fruity and straightforward sparkling wine, with clean and vibrant notes of strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Its fruity sweetness, while evident, is well-balanced, giving it a rounded and extremely appealing character.
Versatile and delightful, Prior Lucas Baga Bubbles Rosé is ideal as an aperitif, but it also shines when paired with Asian cuisine, where its freshness and intense fruitiness complement exotic and slightly spicy flavors.
White Top Seal
Hand-harvested, with bunches selected by hand. Pre-fermentation maceration followed by pressing. Static clarification, fermentation in French oak barrels. Aged on fine lees with battonage in barrels for 15 months. Straw-colored with good intensity. Complex and intense aroma reminiscent of stone fruits, flowers, and spices. Dry on the palate, with a creamy attack, balanced acidity, good structure, and a very long finish.
Manoella Branco
Spring flowers, peach, and lime; a well-rounded palate with lively acidity and a long, mineral finish.
Marcos Hehn Riesling
Citrus-yellow color. Notes of fresh grapefruit with a slight chemical undertone. Rich texture, with good length and freshness on the palate.
Casal Sta. Maria Mar de Rosas Rosé
Casal Sta. Maria Mar de Rosas, crafted from Touriga Nacional, Pinot Noir, and Syrah grapes, features a delicate salmon color and a complex aroma with hints of the Atlantic, red fruits, and the elegance of French oak. On the palate, it is refined and velvety, with salty hints and crisp acidity. The finish is long and intense, highlighting the careful 10-month aging in oak barrels with bâtonnage.
Kelman Rosé
Kelman Rosé is a vibrant, full-bodied wine made from the Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz grape varieties. On the nose, it reveals seductive aromas of wild berries, citrus, and delicate notes of dried flowers. On the palate, it surprises with its good volume and body, displaying a remarkable structure balanced by lively and refreshing acidity.
Caminhos Cruzados Colheita Rosé
On the palate, it is lively and fresh, with excellent body balanced by acidity, and a refined, persistent finish with tremendous food-pairing potential.
