Little Wild Ones 2019

The Ímpar Series is the result of a challenge posed to the winemaking team at Sogrape Vinhos to create wines that are different, special, and unique—wines with a personal touch, born from the winemaker’s inspiration. From very old vineyards, at an altitude of 640 meters, comes the Série Ímpar Retorto. Hailing from a small vineyard in the Serra de São Mamede in Portalegre, the name “Retorto” derives from its twisted vines.
It is a wine that strikes a balance between fruit, natural acidity, and the oak barrels in which it was aged. It is a wine that already exhibits great complexity, but has a natural ability to continue evolving in the bottle.
It has a golden color with slight greenish hues. The aroma is intense and complex, with notes of white fruits, stone fruits, a hint of carob, some minerality, and well-integrated oak notes.
